LOCAL horse Pandemic won the $10,000 Albany Cup meeting last Friday night.
Pandemic is trained by local Peter Hemsley and his brother Phil and was driven by local reinsman Trent Wheeler.
It was Wheeler's first double as a reinsman and the Hemsleys first Country Cup win with the horse.

LEO Wallrodt completed a fantastic season round by driving a double at the annual Busselton Trotting Club's final meeting of the season last Friday.
Leo started the night well by jumping Johnny Diamond to the front from his inside barrier in the first event.
He rated a steady pace and held out the favourite Ballas Arockstar to score a narrow but convincing win.
